Another smartphone from Xiaomi is on its way to the Indian market under the Redmi brand. The new smartphone is assumed to be the Redmi 9 Power. The company recently tweeted with a teaser of the smartphone with the title saying, Power comes to those who seek it’, with the hashtag ‘PowerPacked’ at the end. It shows and confirms that the company will soon be launching the all-new Redmi Power 9 for the Indian market and we have an idea about what kind of specification it will have.
The phone is expected to be the rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 4G which is already available in the Chinese market and was unveiled last month. The Redmi Power 9 model number has also surfaced on the Google Play Console and the model number listed was M2010J19SI, which is also the model number for Redmi Note 9 4G. If we compare it to the same phone, it will be powered using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 and paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The teaser on the Mi India website shows that the phone will come with a quad-camera setup and a very powerful and large battery.
It is expected that the company will be adding at least a 6,000 mAh battery and 18-20W fast charging in the phone, which will directly compete with the new Moto G9 Power, which has been recently launched in the Indian market. It is expected that the phone could be launched at an event by Xiaomi on December 15. Along with the smartphone, it will also launch the new premium range of Smart QLED 4K TV. The phone can come in three colors which are Black, Blue, and Green.
