Another smartphone from Samsung seems to be ready for an imminent launch in the Indian smartphone market, which is the Samsung Galaxy M02. The launch of the phone seems to be just around the corner as it has recently received the BIS certification in India. The Galaxy M02 (SM-M025F) was also spotted on Geekbench recently after which the phone received the Bluetooth SIG certification. Although no details about the phone were found on the benchmark, it did confirm that the phone will have dual-sim support.
Also, other details that one can see are the use of Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC chipset, which will be paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB memory, which could be further expanded using the memory card. The phone will be running Android 10 out of the box and might have multiple variants which will be disclosed on the launch. The phone will have basic connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, and LTE connectivity. and has managed to score 128 in the single-core test and 486 in the multi-core performance on GeekBench.
Although it will be an upgrade over the Galaxy M01, there is no information currently about the display, camera, battery, etc. However, it is expected that the phone will have a triple camera setup on the rear and will have a 6.5-inch screen on the front as well. Also, this time, the phone will also include a fingerprint sensor, unlike the previous generation. Apart from these details, we will have to wait for the launch to know more about it.
