Qualcomm is all set to release its new chipset, Snapdragon 875, which would be the most powerful chipset designed by the company till now. The company generally launches all its new chipset at the annual conference in Hawaii, which takes place in the month of December. Despite the pandemic, it seems like the company will be sticking to its schedule and will be releasing and announcing their new chipsets on December 1 to 2. It was officially announced by Qualcomm on their official channel on Weibo and Xiaomi China’s president was the first to share his excitement.
It also confirms that the next flagship device for Xiaomi will be launched with the Snapdragon 875 chipset. The event is also expected to see the launch of the new Snapdragon 775G, which will be a new mid-range chipset, giving more performance and power, close to the high range chipsets. The fans expect that the chipset will be based on the 5nm architecture and will provide amazing performance. Apart from this, Snapdragon 875 will be the first to use ARM’s new ultra-powerful X1 CPU core.
The new technology will make sure that the chipset provides much higher performance than the previous generation chipset. Also, the chipset will not only provide efficient performance but will also make sure that through perfect optimization, users can have a much higher battery life. The phone from Xiaomi that will be launched using the same chipset, could also provide the customers with some very new features which are not available to users yet.
