When 5G phones were initially launched global, they came with an expensive price tag. Especially in a country like India, the price of the smartphone was very high, even when 5G has not yet arrived in the country. After a while, many companies started to launch their 5G smartphones at a much lower price tag, making it easier for people to purchase them. Now, Realme is going even further by offering Indian customers a 5G smartphone, under the price tag of Rs 10,000.
The company brought 5G through their smartphone Realme X50 Pro 5G and now they are coming up with smartphones that have 5G features when they have been priced at above Rs 15,000. The company has now confirmed that they will be offering a new smartphone in the Indian market, which will be 5G ready and will cost just under Rs 10,000. The announcement was made by CEO Madhav Sheth on a 5G webinar. The company is also planning to launch the popular GT series of the Realme smartphone in the Q3 of this year.
The most awaited in the series is the Realme GT 5G, which offers a big 6.34-inch AMOLED screen with a 120HZ refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. Also, there will be multiple GT variants coming to the market. If the company is able to launch the 5G smartphone under Rs 10,000 category, it will completely change the way smartphones are designed and offered in this range. It will also make other companies push forward in terms of what they offer in this budget range, leading to more options for the customers.
