Last year OnePlus introduced its budget offering in the form of N100 and N10 smartphones in the Nord series. The smartphone was not launched globally but was able to impress critics and users in terms of functionality and offers. Now, the OnePlus has launched the successor to the popular N100 smartphone, which is the OnePlus Nord N200 5G. The phone has been initially launched in the USA and Canada and includes a lot of new hardware specs and better features.
The phone has been launched with 5G connectivity at a price starting from $239.99 and comes in multiple variants. The phone will be made available for purchase through the official OnePlus website and June 25 and will only come in a single color of Quantum Blue. The phone will come with a 6.49-inch FHD+ display and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with a Snapdragon 480 chipset, which might not be as powerful in this range. Although, it has a bigger battery of 5,000 mAh and is accompanied by 18W fast charging.
In terms of camera, it comes with a triple camera setup, where the primary sensor is 13 MP. It is one area the smartphone might be lacking in as smartphones below this segment are now offering 48MP primary sensors commonly. The front gets a 16MP camera sensor for selfies. It has all the offerings for connectivity including the 5G connectivity as well. There are many upgrades over the predecessor and comes with a lot of new features as well. However, there could still have been the scope of improvements for the same.
