After the launch of the cheapest 5G smartphone in the Indian market, Motorola has been planning to launch a few more handsets till next month. The new one in the lineup is the Motorola G40 which is tipped to launch in the month of February in the Indian market. The phone will be yet another budget 5G enabled phone offering in the market and has been codenamed Ibiza. There is currently no official confirmation from the company yet, but as per the details from the reliable tipster Mukul Sharma, we will be able to see the launch of the phone in February.
The exact date is unknown at the moment but is expected to be revealed soon. Some of the features that have been leaked about the phone include a 90Hz enabled IPS LCD display and the use of Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC. The phone is expected to launch with a single variant of 6GB RAM and a triple camera setup which will include a 48MP primary camera sensor along with a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
The front comes with an HD+ display and will have a waterdrop-style notch for the front camera, which is expected to be a 13MP camera sensor. The phone will be powered using a 5,000 mAh battery, but there is no confirmation about the addition of fast charging capabilities. It will operate on Android 11 out of the box and will be a budget 5G offering for those who do not want to spend premium prices for flagship devices with 5G support.
