Xiaomi has gained 3C certification for its forthcoming Civi-branded phone, which is believed to be known as the Xiaomi Civi 3 or Civi 2s. The certificate indicates that the gadget with the MDY-14-EV model number may have a 67-watt rapid charging capability. The certification, however, did not give any further information about the phone.

According to reports, the Xiaomi Civi 3 would feature a curved-edge OLED screen with a pill-shaped notch for 32-megapixel dual front-facing cameras. The device is believed to have an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Dimensity 8200 chip will almost certainly power it, and it will have a triple camera unit on the back, including an OIS-assisted Sony IMX8-series camera.

The Xiaomi Civi 3 is slated to be released in China in May, but there has yet to be the word on a global release date. Xiaomi released its Xiaomi 13 Ultra flagship phone and the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet series in the Chinese market. The 13 Ultra is already available in China and will be available in Europe and other markets, but not in India. The Xiaomi Pad 6 will be available globally, while the Pro version will only be sold in China.
