Xiaomi is currently working on its new flagship device, the Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro. The phone is expected to break all the performance records provided by previous Xiaomi smartphones and will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875, which is all due to launch in the month of December. Although Xiaomi has not revealed any details about the Mi 11 smartphone or what kind of new features will it come with, there have been a few leaks that give details about the improvement.
As per the details by DigitalChatStation, a leaker on Weibo, it seems that Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will feature a QHD+ resolution panel at up to 120Hz refresh rate. Although this feature is not new in the market and has already been adopted by brands like Oppo and OnePlus in their smartphones, it will be a good upgrade from the 90Hz refresh rate in the Mi 10 Pro. This will not be the only upgrade to the display, but the phone will also have certain display features like MEMC, SDR-to-HDR mapping, and AI upscaling.
The company has used MEMC features in their latest smartphones like the Mi 10T Pro and Ultra, but SDR-to-HDR-up mapping or AI upscaling will be used for the first time in the Mi 11 Pro. It will definitely improve the screen quality and the display for Xiaomi smartphones and will provide a much more immersive experience while watching any kind of video on content. The phone is expected to launch in the year 2021 after the announcement of Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 in December this year.
