When it comes to smartphone offers, exchange and buyback are some of the most popular and something that can provide the users with more value for their device. This time Xiaomi has announced their new scheme for offline customers who prefer buying their smartphones from the Mi Stores and Mi Partners across the country. As per the new scheme, users can get up to 70% exchange value on their old Mi or Redmi Phones when upgrading to a new Xiaomi device.
The offer can be availed at Mi Home, Mi Studios or a Mi preferred partner across the country, which will help the users to get their hands on the latest smartphone in the market. The offer would include phones like the Redmi 9 Prime to the flagship phones from the Mi 10 series. However, the scheme is not yet available for POCO smartphone owners. A similar kind of scheme was also launched by Flipkart and Samsung a while back during the festive sale to encourage the customers to upgrade to a new smartphone.
One simply has to return or exchange the old Xiaomi or Redmi phone which will be dependent on the fact of how old the phone is and what is the condition. To get the offer, you will have to enroll in the plan which can cost from Rs 399 to Rs 1999 depending on the smart you buy. If the users exchange their device within 3 months of purchase, they will be given 70% assured value as exchange. For devices between 7-9 months of age, one can get 50% to 60%. Lastly for phones between 12-15 months old, can get a 40% buyback value. It seems like Xiaomi is looking to channel more sales through offline stores this festive season.
