Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of the new Xiaomi 12 premium smartphones in the Chinese market and new leaks have started emerging just before the launch. As per the new leaks, a smartphone case for Xiaomi 12 has been spotted which reveals the addition of extra hardware in the rear camera unit of the smartphone. As per the details, that have been released by GizmoChina, the image shows five different cutouts within the camera hump of the smartphones.
The first three cutouts are for the three camera sensors which are large, the remaining cutouts are for the proximity sensor and flash. Apart from these cutouts, which were expected from Xiaomi, another cutout was spotted on one of the rendered images of the cases. It is expected that the new cutout could be the addition of the LiDAR sensor that Apple is already using on their iPhone. The render images also show that the primary camera sensor on the rear is very large when compared to the other two camera sensors.
Also, the smartphone is expected to come with a 2K resolution screen and a new kind of camera technology which will not only improve the quality of images and video taken through the camera but will also make them look much better on the new display. The phone was earlier expected to launch on 12 December, but now the smartphone is going to launch at the end of December. The company is also expected to launch a new smartphone or device along with the launch of Xiaomi 12.
