Vivo has launched yet another budget smartphone in the Indian market without any kind of fuzz or event. This time, the smartphone is Y12G. The phone has been launched in the budget segment and packs a decent performance. The phone has been launched at a price of Rs 10,999 for the 3GB/32GB variant. The phone currently comes in two color options of Phantom Black and Glacier Blue. These can be purchased through the Vivo India website.
The phone will not have anything new but does provide a good package at this price point. The phone comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ screen which has a dewdrop notch in the front for the selfie camera. The rear gets a dual-camera setup where the primary sensor is 13MP and the secondary sensor is a 2MP depth sensor. The phone will be powered using a Qualcomm chipset, which is Snapdragon 439, which would provide decent performance for smartphones in this range. The phone also comes with a large battery of 5000 mAh and supports 10W of charging speed through a wired connection.
Although it is a budget smartphone, it does have Multi-Turbo 3.0 mode for gaming and for reducing stutters. The phone does support 4G connectivity and also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint reader in the power button and face unlock for security. It is expected to run on Android 11 out of the box and will be running the FunTouch 11 skin as well.
