Vivo is all set to launch its new smartphone in the Indian market with the name Vivo T1 5G. The company will launch the smartphone in the Indian market on February 9. The smartphone was launched in China last year in the month of October. It is not certain if the smartphone will be powered with a Snapdragon or Mediatek processor, but it was powered with a Snapdragon processor in China. The smartphone was launched at CNY 2,199 in China for the 8GB/128Gb variant, CNY 2,399 for the 8GB/256GB variant, and CNY 2,599 for the 12GB/256GB variant.
If converted to Indian value, the phone would be priced from Rs 26,000 to Rs 30,000 depending on the variant user purchases. The smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch full HD+ display, which also has support for a 120Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz sampling rate. The smartphone could be powered by a Snapdragon 778G SoC. The rear gets a triple camera setup where the primary sensor is 64MP, along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.
The phone comes with features like 5G, 4G, Bluetooth v5.2, USB-C port, and Wi-Fi 6. The smartphone will be backed up with a 5,000 mAh battery that will support 44W fast charging. It could be the case that Vivo decides to swap the processor with Dimensity 900 SoC from Mediatek, but it has not been confirmed yet. We expect Vivo to launch another smartphone along with Vivo T1 5G and that could be a more affordable variant than this smartphone.
