Vivo is going to announce a new smartphone series in China on October 19 and it has been named the T1 series. The two smartphones that will be launched in this series will be the T1 and T1x. Vivo has already released the launch poster which shows a triple camera setup on the rear. There have also been leaks that show the official render image of the smartphone. The reports confirm that the smartphone will have a waterdrop notch in the front which will house the front camera. The T1 smartphone range is expected to come with a dual-camera setup and the T1x series of smartphones is expected to come with a triple camera setup.
The smartphones would be powered by both Dimensity and Snapdragon processors, but the exact processor for the variants have not been confirmed. It is expected that the smartphone could either use Dimensity 900 chipset or Snapdragon 778G chipset, with a display that would support a high refresh rate. The T1x smartphone is also expected to pack a 5,000 mAh battery and support 44W fast charging. The display is expected to be a 6.67-inch FHD+ unit, along with a triple camera setup where the primary sensor will be 64MP.
The T1 smartphone will have a 4,050 mAh battery and will have support for fast charging, but not the same as the T1x series. It will also have a dual-camera setup where the primary sensor could be a 50P sensor. The T1 series smartphone is more likely to be powered by the Dimensity 900 chipset while the T1x series of smartphones will be powered by Snapdragon 778 chipset.
