Vivo previously announced that they will be using the new Dimensity chipsets from Mediatek in their upcoming smartphone range. One such phone was quietly announced by the company in the Chinese market with the name Y52s. The Y52s is powered using the Density 720 and will be paired with 6 and 8GB RAM variants. The Y52s has been announced as a mid-range smartphone that will be equipped with 5G support and will bring around powerful specs in the smartphone.
The phone will also bring a dual-camera setup on the rear and will be powered using a 5,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support. The Vivo Y52s come with a 6.58 inch LCD screen and FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The phone display is based on the waterdrop notch design, which also holds the 8MP camera sensor for selfies. On the rear, the phone will have a primary 48MP sensor, which is used by most phones in this category along with a 2MP depth sensor.
When it comes to the design, the fingerprint scanner has been located on the ride side of the phone. It also has a 3.5mm Jack and USB-C charging port. The phone will be launched with Android 10 out of the box and will be running FuntouchOS 10.5. The phone is all set to come in gray, white, and gradient colors, and will be priced at $245 for the 6GB/128GB version and $275 for the 8GB/128GB version. The phone will soon be available online for orders.
