According to recent reports, Sony has launched its first PlayStation store in India. Thanks to this exciting development, customers can now readily acquire Sony consoles without relying on third-party shops such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliance Digital. Sony previously offered its systems exclusively through these online and physical retailers. Rishi Alwani, an industry insider, broke the news first, revealing that the first dedicated Sony Playstation store is located in Delhi and has teamed with a third-party retailer, DT Zone.
The newly built offline store in Punjabi Bagh, Delhi, is a one-stop shop for all PlayStation consumers. It includes PlayStation consoles, Dual Sense gaming controllers, headsets, and several game titles. Customers may also be able to purchase a PlayStation subscription from the store; however, an official announcement has yet to be made on this subject.
This is fantastic news for Sony fans, who will no longer rely on third-party shops to buy their favorite gaming machines. Furthermore, Sony has dropped the prices of its PlayStation 5 (regular and digital editions) by Rs 5,000 for a short time. While the special price has yet to expire, the conventional variant can now be purchased for Rs 49,990, while the digital edition costs Rs 39,990.
