When it comes to displaying monitors, you must have seen that there are multiple types of display setup as per the requirements. There is a different display panel when it comes to setting up a PC and a different display panel for a normal TV. However, Samsung has released a new type of display monitor that can be used as a PC monitor, smart TV, and a lot more. The all-in-one monitor from Samsung uses the Tozen 3.5 operating system which is found in smart TVs.
The operating system allows you to stream any content in HDR 10 from multiple video streaming services and also provides the option to add more from the embedded app store. Another smart feature of the display would be the ability to run Microsoft Office 365 applications via a virtual machine without requiring a PC connection. One can simply link a keyboard and mouse using Bluetooth 4.2 and connect a display wirelessly using Samsung’s DeX utility. This would allow the users to have PC-like features and also use their smartphone directly on the TV.
The M5 version of the monitor comes with Full HD support and is available in the size of 27 and 32 inches. The cost for both is $230 and $280. For now, the monitors are only available in the US, Canada, and China, but can see a global launch in the coming months. The company will also be launching a 32-inch model with 4K support in December at $400. The TV has a built-in 5W speaker and voice control as well. It has USB-C support for high-speed data transfer and three USB 2.0 and two HDMI 2.0 ports.
