Last year, Samsung offered a new and more affordable smartphone series for their premium flagship Galaxy S20 and it was named Galaxy S20 FE. After the smartphone received a lot of success and appreciation, Samsung announced that they will be releasing a FE version of every premium flagship phone that they launch annually. Therefore, after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, Samsung fans are eagerly waiting for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE series. However, before that happens, another smartphone is going to make its entry into the market.
It will be the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE but with 5G capabilities. The support page for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G just went live on the Samsung India website and around the same time, the smartphone has been certified by BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). Now as per the latest reports, Samsung will be launching the phone next week in the Indian market. After the launch of Galaxy, S20 FE will be available in two variants of 4G and 5G.
The 5G variant for the same phone was released earlier in September 2020 but was not available for the Indian market. Now, after five months of the launch, the handset will finally be available for Indian users as well. The pricing of the smartphone is expected to come around $688, which would be around Rs 50,000 in Indian currency. There is no confirmation on the processor that will be used, but most probably it will be the Snapdragon 800 series.
