Samsung is going to launch its next-generation flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S22 series on February 9. The smartphone is expected to come in three different variants of Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Note/Ultra. The specification of the smartphone has already been leaked on the internet and as per the details, the Galaxy S22 base variant will come with a 6.1-inch OLED screen and 120Hz refresh rate support. The display will have 1500 nits of brightness and will have Gorilla Glass Victus protection as well. It will be powered using the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Also, the smartphone could be powered by Exynos 2200 chipset from Samsung in some countries.
On the rear, it will come with a triple camera setup where the primary sensor will be 50MP. The phone will be powered with a 3,700 mAh battery and will have fast charging support both wired and wirelessly. Other features of the smartphone include Wi-Fi 6 support, NFC, 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and IP68 certification. The Galaxy S22 Plus smartphone will have a 6.6-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1750 nits of brightness. It will also be protected with Gorilla Glass Victus and will have a 4,500 mAh battery with IP68 certification.
The final variant, Galaxy S22 Note/Ultra will have a 6.8-inch QHD+ OLED panel and 120Hz refresh rate. The display will be protected with Gorilla Glass Vitus and will have 1750 nits of peak brightness. The phone will also have support for S-Pen and will have a 108MP camera sensor on the rear. The front will have a 40MP camera sensor in the front for selfies.
