Redmi Note 11 series will soon be making a global launch in the smartphone segment and is also one of the most popular smartphone series by Xiaomi. Redmi Note 11, Pro and Pro+ variants have recently made their debut in the Chinese market with Mediatek Dimensity chipset. However, it seems that the phone will be powered with a Snapdragon chipset in the global variant. The details came in through the Vietnamese portal, called the Pixel. As per the post, the phone will be launched with a Snapdragon chipset globally and will also have a different back panel design as seen in the images.
Another source has also confirmed that the decision might have been taken due to the shortage of supply in the Mediatek chipset for Xioami. It is expected that the company will be using the Snapdragon 778G Plus and Snapdragon 695 processor in the global variant. The Redmi Note 11 that was launched in China, had a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen along with a 320 Hz sampling rate and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also had a 5,160 mAh battery and 67W fast charging support.
It came with a 108MP camera sensor on the rear and was powered by Dimensity 920 chipset. Similarly, the Pro + variant had 120W fast charging support when wired charging is used and a 4,500 mAh battery. It does not seem that the variants launched globally will have any change in the features and hardware except the change in processor. However, it will only be revealed in the official global launch if Xiaomi is planning to change other aspects of the smartphone as well.
