Redmi has officially announced a new budget smartphone in the Indian market without any prior notification. This time, it is the Redmi 9 Activ smartphone that comes under the price of Rs 10,000 or $135. When compared to Redmi 9, the phone is a better version of the smartphone with more RAM. The phone has been launched in two variants with a RAM configuration of 4GB and 6GB. While the 4GB version has 64GB memory, the 6GB version will have 128GB memory.

Another great feature of the smartphone is the large 5,000 mAh battery along with 10W charging support. Also, since the chipset used in the phone is power efficient, the users can expect a long battery life. The phone is powered using the Helio G35 SoC and also offers memory expansion through microSD card support. The phone will have a rear fingerprint scanner and will be equipped with a dual-camera setup, with a 13MP primary sensor. The front gets a 5MP snapper on a 6.5-inch HD+ display.

The color options available for the smartphone are Carbon Black, Coral Green, Sky Blue, and Sporty Orange. If you want to purchase the smartphone, it can be bought from the Amazon India website and Mi website, and stores. The phone seems to be a good offering in its segment with more RAM in an affordable smartphone.
