Last week Xiaomi launched their Redmi 10 smartphone in the global market. Now the company will also be releasing the device in the Indian market with a rebranded name of Redmi 10 Prime. There is no official confirmation from Xiaomi regarding the release date but we can expect the smartphone in the early weeks of September. The Redmi 10, which will be rebranded and launched in India as Redmi 10 Prime is one of a kind budget category smartphone from the company.

Although it has been priced for an affordable segment, it comes with a lot of features that exist in the Redmi Note 10 series as well. One of the most unique features is the addition of a high refresh rate on display, which is a first for the non-Note series of phones. The phone will be powered using the new and tweaked Mediatek G88 SoC and will come with 4 and 6GB RAM options along with 64GB and 128GB storage to select from. The phone also comes with a great quad-camera setup where the primary sensor is 50MP from Sony.

The camera setup also comes with a wide variety of filters that is present in MIUI. It will be powered using a 5,000 mAh and support for 18W fast charging. It is in fact the most powerful phone in the Redmi Prime series till now and will provide complete value for its price. It also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and dual stereo speakers. It seems that Xiaomi will be going for a last-minute launch for this smartphone in September.
