However, during the event, the company also revealed a new V lineup of their smartphones, which will be powered by the new chipset from Mediatek. The Meditek Dimensity series will be used in the entire Realme V lineup as they are most cost affordable and have a lot of new features as well.
The company revealed that using the Mediatek Dimensity chipset would allow them to make 5G smartphones, as affordable as $149. The company has recently revealed its all-new X7 and X& Pro in China which are their new premium smartphones under the mid-range segment. These phones also use the Dimensity 800U chipset from Mediatek. Lastly, the company revealed its Realme V3 smartphone, which is powered by Dimensity 720 chipset from Mediatek, which offered a dual 5G standby feature to the phone. The phone will also have a 5000 mAh battery which will be supported by 18W fast charging and a 6.5inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch.
The phone also has a triple camera setup on the rear and a single front camera for selfies. The price of the handset starts from $146 for the base model, which provides 6GB of RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The highest model cost $237, which is an 8GB/128GB unit. The overall pricing for a new mid-range 5G smartphone is great and can lead to a lot of competition for the upcoming range of 5G smartphones.
