Realme GT 5G has been the first-ever premium flagship device from the company that has been powered using the Snapdragon 888 chipset and is also the first device that will be getting Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12. The “Android 12 early access” program will be launched by the company on October 13 and the device will be the first among many other smartphones in China to get the new UI. As per the announcement made by the company, only 700 users will be able to experience the new UI initially.
The registration is already open and will be closed as soon as they have enough applications. As per the company, the users will be asked about certain aspects of the smartphone, the type of use they have, and other details in the questionnaire. Based on the data, the company will be selecting 700 users initially. Although the Android 12 experience will not remove the data from the smartphone, the company still suggests taking a backup of the entire data, in case they need to restore it again.
The only requirement for participation is that the phone should not be rooted. The company will shed more details on the new UI and the coming of Android 12 next week. We can assume that there are going to be a lot more features and upgrades in terms of software for the users. The company has not confirmed the addition of any other smartphone for testing the new UI based on Android 12.
