However, rumors are up for next year that Apple would be introducing its first ARM-based Macs. With the same industrial design as before, the 13-inch MacBook would be the first in line to receive the new SoC. The new configuration is expected to provide much higher performance than its current lineup, which could enhance the user experience of the iOS environment.

Until now Apple has been using Intel processors for their complete lineups of Macbook and Mac desktop machines. However, we can soon expect Apple to release their custom silicon-based processors on the ARM architecture, which can be later this year. The details provided by analyst Ming Chi-Kuo, mentions that the 13-inch laptop will be the first to get the processor, with almost no changes to the design.

He also gave a hint on the release of 14 and 16-inch Macbook pro later this year or in early 2021. As per him, the company would take around more than a year to successfully test their processors and integrate them with the machines. The new processor is expected to lower down the cost of Macbook’s and provide better integration of hardware and software.

Google has been offering the Pixel range of smartphones for a long time now, and they have been very popular among Pixel fanboys for its high-end specs. Although we are still waiting for a proper launch of Google Pixel 4a, new rumored pics have been leaked, claiming to be of Google Pixel 5.

The images were leaked by Pictou, which is a phone accessory store and claims that these pics are CAD-based renders of the Google Pixel 5 device. Although the leaks are still to be verified, we cannot be sure whether these leaks are genuine. However, we did want everyone to know that Google Pixel 5 is a mid-range segment smartphone device that Google expected to launch in the future.

As per the leaks, it looks very similar or a spiced-up version of a Google Pixel 4a. The leaked images show a similar camera setup to that of a Pixel 4a and also houses a rear fingerprint scanner. The phone also has a front selfie camera on the left side of the screen, which does not seem to be the kind of design Google wants to go with its Pixel range.

It is why the leaks cannot be confirmed as genuine at this point. Since these pictures are from an unproven source, they do not provide a confirmed picture of what a Pixel 5 should look like. So we cannot possibly imagine a Google Pixel 5 based on these images and will have to wait for a few more leaks if the phone is in the development process.

The update improves the feature where the user adds an optional downward swipe that allows quick access to the OnePlus shelf, which is very similar to what a user does to access the access panel on android. The functionality is easier to adapt to and allows the user to access their favorite content and application from the Google feed or One Plus shelf as per their choice.

It is still unclear whether the old swipe down feature has been removed in this update or not, but the process has been made easier with the toggle button. The only problem is that the feature has not been activated on all the devices with the same launcher.

It seems that multiple OnePlus devices that have been updated to the current version of the launcher do not have access to the toggle button. It seems that the function can only be enabled through a server-side switch, which is not how the companies have been working these days.

Those who cannot see the toggle button might still be able to use the swipe down feature on their smartphones.

European Consumer Group demands Apple to pay more money to settle #Batterygate

Earlier in 2016, when Apple admitted that they were slowing down older iPhones with the updates to compensate for the performance, it led to a huge disappointment among iPhone users. Eventually, Apple had to pay huge compensation to the users for the issue. The iPhone users faced an issue where an update was installed on their phone without their approval, which remotely throttled the CPU on older iPhones. It happened after the iOS version 10.2.1 was installed on the iPhones.

Some users also had an issue before the update where the phones rebooted or crashed while using an application or certain functions. Apple was accused that it intentionally slowed down the iPhone, which limited the lifetime of older models, forcing the users to buy the latest version. However, Apple had a very different reason for the same. The battery on the older models was weaker as per them, and throttling the battery would have increased the performance and battery life.

However, when Apple finally apologized for the same in 2017 and offered to replace the older models’ battery with a huge discount on iPhone 6, 6s, and SE models. It had to replace more than 11 million handset batteries within a year. It not only cost a lot of money but also led to a downfall of Apple’s reputation.

Although the issue has been down and dusted with, five European countries, including Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Brazil, still want Apple to pay more for the battery and performance issue they had faced a couple of years back. A hearing will be held in December this year, which will issue a final ruling about the settlement. The demand from the consumer groups is around Euros 60 for each customer.
