When it comes to wireless pods, there is nothing better than Apple Airpods Pro. It is why this is the best time to buy them at a super discounted price. Apple has announced a discount on the Apple AirPods Pro, and they are available for just $200. The price is $50 less than it was offered and is the best available deal on the product.

The earphones come with an in-ear construction and have one of the best quality sound reproduction in its competition. The AirPods Pro comes with three different sizes of silicone tips that can be used for adjustable fitting in one ear. The deal is currently running in Staples and will only last till the stocks are available.

So if you were looking to buy them, then this might be the best time. However, make sure that you get them before the stocks run out as the offer will end on August 1. However, if you do not want to spend $200 for AirPods pro and are looking for a little less expensive alternate, you can also buy the standard Apple AirPods at $129, which is $30 less than the original listed price.

Apple is soon going to launch its new products and devices in the coming months, and it is expected that they might launch a new version of the Airpods and Airpods Pro version. It might be the reason why the users are getting such a heavy discount on the product.

Recently the Google Nest Thermostats user has been facing the “w5 error” while remotely connecting their device to the WiFi connection. Many users have reported the same issue, and Google has finally acknowledged it. In a statement, Google said that the issue is known, and the problem is with the thermostats WiFi chip. The company has now guaranteed their users that they will replace the device if the issue is not resolved through troubleshooting.

The issue has been persistent with the users since November 2019, where the users were immediately getting the w5 error whole, establishing a remote connection. Many users also tried to troubleshoot the issue with Google support, where the device was reset to factory settings.

However, the device was still unable to connect to any WiFi Network. As per the users, the issue started for many of them after updating the device. As per them, the device stopped working properly after updates were installed. While most customers are claiming similar reasons, many say that the WiFi chip installed in the device is fried, due to which they are facing the issue.

Google clarified that the issue will not hamper the device’s operation and will continue to control the home heating and cooling system. However, the issue will be a problem for those who used to control the system using their smartphone, that required remote connectivity.

A very small number of Nest thermostat users are experiencing a known issue with the WiFi chip that causes remote connectivity issues. It does not affect the thermostat’s ability to control the customer’s heating and cooling system in the home but impacts the user’s ability to manage the thermostat remotely. If a user sees this error and can’t be resolved through troubleshooting, they are prompted to contact customer support for assistance and be issued a replacement device.

Minecraft is a game with unlimited imagination and creativity. You can build various things in it and create a world of your own. However, things never seem to stop for Minecraft, and now and then, it will add a new element to it, which makes the game even more engaging. As per the latest update to the game, a user can now build a real PC in the game and boot Windows 95 operating system.

Once you run the Windows 95, you can also play the popular “Doom” game on it. The update was added through a new Mod called the “VM Computers mod.” With this Mod you can create a computer using the parts of the satellite orbiting around the Minecraft world. The most engaging part is that it can boot not only Windows 95 but also many other operating systems.

The Mod can be used with VirtualBox, which is a free and open-source virtual machine software. Within Minecraft, you place a PC case block and then use it to create virtual hard drives to install operating systems from ISO files. Since VM computer Mod experimented for a long time in the game, it also allows the users to play “Doom” games on the created PC.

Playing a classic game inside a game is a cool feature. It not only stops there; you can even play Minecraft on the same PC, which you have created in the game. Doesn’t it seem like inception, where the game is running inside another game? We might expect Minecraft to run more games inside the game-built PC.

Folding phones has been a very recent trend among smartphone companies that are still trying to find its space in the market. With foldable phones from Samsung, Motorola, and Huawei, the market of foldable phones has just started picking up the pace. However, there are still many issues that the foldable phone market is facing, and it is something that companies will refine over time.

In the race of foldable smartphones, I might soon see an offering from Microsoft under development for a long time. The device was called the Microsoft Surface Duo, a foldable smartphone, and will run on the Android operating system.

The phone is almost complete, and after various rounds of perfecting and testing the technology, it might finally be announced and launched in a few weeks. As per Gizmodo’s information, Microsoft filed papers for the Surface Duo with the US Federal Communications Commission, and it also sought Bluetooth SIG certification.

The launch is expected to be in Holiday 2020, which is also when the company will be launching its next-generation gaming console. The phone’s information also revealed a few specs like the 5.6-inch screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, and the operating system Android 10. As per the company, the device cannot be called just a phone.

The kind of functionality it will provide will be much more than what a phone can. It will land somewhere in between a phone and a large tablet. Microsoft is expected to bring in many different and new features in the device, and it is expected that its foldable device would not have any issues found in the foldable phones for other companies. Until then, the company will probably launch the device somewhere around October, but we will still be waiting for their official announcement.

Google has been trying to dominate and expand in various segments of the market. The automotive market is one of those domains, and Google has been working on a model-esque OS for cars for a long time. The company has made a new OS that automakers can use and customized as per their preference. The OS base will be based on the Android operating system as it provides almost unlimited customization options.

The company will be launching the new device Polestar 2 very soon, which will be the first vehicle with Android Automotive. The company has also revealed the initial app lineup that can be used through the device. The Polestar 2 is an electric fastback from the Volvo Car Group in Sweden and China’s Geely. The device will be made available later this year and will compete directly with the Tesla Model 3. The apps that will be available at launch for Polestar 2 are mentioned below.

  • Podcast apps Castbox and Pocket Casts
  • Library app Libby
  • Radio apps iHeartRadio, Swedish Radio Play and NRK Radio; Bauer Media Audio’s Magic Radio and Radioplayer apps
  • Music and podcast app Spotify

Google also showcases the integration of Youtube and Google Maps to the same platform last year, which will be continued and made better. The apps are available for Android Automotive vehicles, including the Volvo XC40 Recharge and GM, when it launches its first AA vehicles in 2021. Not only this, but the device will also get a custom app store, which will add a lot more applications in the future.

The device will also include three years of internet connectivity, available directly inside the car. The device will also have a new version of the Android Automotive emulator, which will fully implement embedded Google apps and services.

The new and better than ever Corning Gorilla Glass is here

The Corning Gorilla Glass is one of the oldest parts used in smartphone screens, ever since touchscreen technology was introduced. There would rarely be any phone that does not have the Gorilla Glass protection. We all know that it protects the screen from any scratches and is also tougher than any other glass. The company has recently announced its new Gorilla Glass, which is much tougher than its previous version. The new version of Gorilla Glass is said to easily handle a six-foot drop, with the ability to resist scratches. It is also the first new version of the glass in a couple of years.

The new version’s name is Gorilla Glass Victus, which is made to make the existing features of the previous Gorilla Glass even better. The company uses a process called annealing, similar to (but not the same thing as) tempering, which is the secret to their glasses’ durability. It also has been a secret for their company for over a century.

The processes use heating and cooling to toughen glass, but where annealing lets the heated glass come down to room temperature naturally, tempering douses its temperature rapidly. It not only increases the strength in the glass but also makes it resist scratches and scuff marks. It is the reason why it was used as one of the first products for smartphone screens.

However, due to the degraded quality in the last few versions, the new version was really important for the company, bringing the same features, for which the company was known. It is still not clear which smartphone company will be using this for their next and upcoming phones. However, since Apple is a client of Corning’s, it is expected that they might want to add this technology to their phone in the future.

You can also check for such notification on the Notification section in the PS4 dashboard. It is rumored that the company is providing the credits for people to buy games and services during the Summer sale, where the users can buy their favorite games at never before price.

Not many users have received the credit, but it is being paid to Plus members at random, and many users are still receiving it as we speak. If you have still not received it, it would be better to wait for a few more hours as the credit is being rolled out globally for PS Plus members, and there is no clarification on the same by Sony. Therefore, one must keep a check on the notification panel for updates.

Before the annual Samsung event in August, much new information is coming about Samsung devices, specifically from the Galaxy S20 series. As per the latest leak, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan edition or Galaxy S20 Lite has been spotted in two different colors and battery specs. The rumors suggest that the company is working on a lite version of the Samsung Galaxy S20, which is very similar to what they did with the Galaxy S10 device. It is expected that these two colors, which are light Pink and Blue (there are no official color names announced yet), will be available in Europe after the launch.

Another information leaked by Galaxyclub.nl is that the model number of this phone is EB-BG781ABY, and the battery capacity of this particular device will be around 4,370mAh. The battery capacity is similar to what is expected on the Samsung Galaxy S20+ device. So it can be the case where the users could see a battery capacity of 4,500mAh in the S20 Lite version, as it was also present in the S10 Lite version, which was released in January this year.

The rumors also suggest that the phone will specifically be launched in the European market initially, and there is no information about its global availability. The expected specs of the phone do include a 120Mhz screen refresh rate along with IP68 certification for the build.

The phone may also come with Snapdragon 865 SoC and have 6GB of RAM. The phone pricing can be expected a bit higher than the S10 Lite version, which can be anywhere between $100-$150. Everyone has been expecting Samsung to unveil some information or the device it is going to take place on August 5. They have also announced a “Life Unstoppable” event on September 2, which can be a launching ground for Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite.

Garmin is one of the most reputed and popular US-based wearables and navigation device makers, with more than millions of users with their devices. Recently the company has suffered a major outage across its range of services and call centers. The services that were affected due to the outage were Garmin Connect, flyGarmin, and Garmin Pilot apps.

It is rumored that these attacks could be Ransomware, however, no such information has been confirmed by either the company or any other associated source. The company made an official tweet. They mentioned, “We are currently experiencing an outage that affects Garmin Connect, and as a result, the Garmin Connect website and mobile app are down at this time.

In the second tweet, they mentioned, “This outage also affects our call centers, and we are currently unable to receive any calls, emails, or online chats. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and apologize for this inconvenience.” The problem persists, and the company website and other services are still down for anyone to access. If it is confirmed as a Ransomware, then there is a huge risk that the users’ data can be leaked.

Also, such attacks have increased over the years, and more than 50% of organizations worldwide have had such digital attacks. Such attacks put the customer’s data at risk and stop companies from taking any action that can resolve the issue. Currently, Garmin is trying to seek out the issue, and they would not want their users to panic from the news of Ransomware
