Oppo has launched yet another smartphone in the A-series and this time it comes with 5G support as well. The smartphone is Oppo A56 5G and it has been released today in China. The phone comes with a powerful Dimensity processor and a power of 5G in the mid-range category. The smartphone has been launched at a price of CNY 1,599 for the 6GB/128GB variant with three color options of Cloud Smoke Blue, Soft Fog Black, and Wind Chime Purple.
Depending on the color you pick, the rear camera will also have the same color rings on the camera. The phone is currently on pre-orders in China and will soon be launched in the global market as well. In terms of specification, the phone comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ screen that has an A-Si display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The refresh rate on the phone is somewhat disappointing as per the price it has been offered at. Most of the companies are providing a 90Hz refresh rate under the same category.
It would also support a 120Hz sampling rate and has 480 nits of peak brightness. The phone has been powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and is paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. In terms of the camera, the rear has a dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP portrait lens. The front gets an 8MP selfie camera. It is backed up by a 5,000 mAh battery and will have support for fast charging. The phone isn’t the best offering in terms of pricing, but still packs a decent overall performance with the current specifications.
