We all know that Xiaomi is going to launch a new series of Redmi Note 9 on November 26 and this time, the series is going to be equipped with 5G technology. However, the company is not yet done with the surprises and it seems that they will be using an entirely new camera sensor for these variants. Although we are getting new leaks and details about the phone on a daily basis, these details were kept a secret till now. The details for final release by the Redmi’s General Manager Lu Weibing who has shared an official render of the purported new Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G.
The render teased a brand new camera sensor for the series which has never been used before by the company. The image shows a circular quad camera design and gradient color finish. The image shows a quad-camera setup on the rear but is expected to only be visible on the highest variant which is the Redmi Note 9 Pro. When it comes to the vanilla version of the Redmi Note 9, it will house a triple camera setup. Also, the quad-camera setup is expected to have Samsung HM2108MP primary sensor.
The recently launched sensor is 15% smaller than Samsung’s previous Isocell HM1 sensor used on the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra. It also deploys smaller 0.7-micron pixels compared to 0.8-micron pixels on its predecessor. The entire series will also have 120Hz adaptive displays and better imaging capabilities.
