Realme released their all-new Realme 7 series a few months back, however, it did not seems to bring support for the 5G band. However, it seems like the company is all set to release a new series of Realme 7 smartphones which will bring 5G technology to the series. As confirmed by Realme UK on the Twitter account, the company will be launching the new Realme 7 5G in the market on November 19. The online event can be viewed through their official YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook accounts, and will most probably only include the smartphone in the launch.
Recently, Realme has got a Thai certification from NBTC, which hinted at the launch of a Realme Smartphone with 5G support. At the time of certification, it was not clear as to if the phone would be a new model or a revamped existing one. However, since it is clear now that the phone will be a revamped version of the Realme 7 series, the specs are clear as well. The phone will be identical to what Realme 7 Pro provides with an additional feature of 5G support and the addition of a new chipset as well.
For now, it is not clear as to what chipset will be used in the new phone. The company has been using both Mediatek and Snapdragon chipset for their phones. Therefore, it will be interesting to see which chipset they use and what will be the expected pricing for the phone as companies like Xiaomi has also been preparing to low a lost cost 5G variant in the market.
