Motorola has been really active with smartphone launches, especially in the last two quarters of this year. However, the launch spree does not seem to end for the company and we can expect a lot of new phones in the next year as well. As per the details, Motorola will be launching two new smartphones in the Indian market in the first quarter of 2022. One of those devices is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
One of the smartphones that are most likely to be launched in India with the same chipset is Motorola Edge X30, which will be launched in China on December 9. It is expected that the same smartphone will launch in India in January, possibly under a different name. Another smartphone that is expected to launch in India next year is the Moto G71, G41, or the Moto G200. However, the launch of Moto Edge X30 is almost confirmed in India and it comes with a wide range of features.
Some of the features that have been confirmed by Motorola include an OLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate support, HDR10+ support, and 10-bit colors. The phone will also come with up to 16GB RAM variant and 512 GB in-built memory. The phone might come with minor tweaks in India when compared to the variant that will be launched in China. The phone will also have a triple camera setup where it will have two 50MP camera sensors as well. It is expected to run on Android 12 out of the box and will also include support for 68W fast charging and a 5,000 mAh battery.
