Motorola launched the Edge 20 and Edge 20 Fusion smartphone in the Indian market last month and both variants received a positive response from the customers. The only difference was that the Edge 20 Fusion was rebranded to Edge 20 Lite and was powered by Dimensity 800U chipset instead of Dimensity 720. Now Motorola is planning to launch yet another smartphone in the same series which is going to be an upgrade over the previous smartphone.
Motorola has started teasing the audience with the glimpse of Edge 20 Pro, which is the next smartphone in the line for launch. The teaser also provides the details of the camera and is confirmed to have a 108 MP primary camera sensor on the rear with a triple camera setup. The company has not mentioned any kind of launch date yet, but it can be expected to arrive in India within the first week of October. Motorola is also expected to launch Moto Tab 8 soon and it could be a perfect platform to launch both devices.
The Edge 20 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC, which is a previous generation premium chipset and will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage as well. The display will be a 6.7-inch FullHD+ OLED screen that will also support a 144Hz refresh rate. The front will have a 32MP snapper and it will be powered using a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging through the USB-C port. We hope to get more details through leaks and other sources before the official launch.
