Motorola has recently launched the Edge 20 series of smartphones in the Chinese market and now the same is going to be launched in the Indian market. As per the leaked details, the company will soon be announcing the launch date of two Edge 20 series of smartphones, the Edge 20 and Edge 20 Fusion. Where Edge 20 will be the base or vanilla version of the phone, it seems that Edge 20 Fusion would be a rebranded name for the Lite variant launched in China.
The company has already launched a teaser video for the same on their Twitter handle and it hints towards an imminent launch in India. The phone will be placed in the mid-level market segment. If both the variants come unchanged from the Chinese market, then the Edge 20 smartphone will come with a 6.7-inch OLED display that will also have a 144Hz refresh rate and will be powered using a Snapdragon 778 chipset. The phone will also provide the users with an 8GB/128GB option with an in-display fingerprint reader.
On the other hand, the phone Edge 20 Fusion, which is also the Lite version of Edge 20, will have a 6.7-inch OLED screen. The display will support a 90Hz refresh rate and will have an FHD+ resolution. The phone will be powered using Mediatek Dimensity 720 processor and will have the same 8GB/128GB configuration. The focus will also be on the 108MP camera sensor which will be available for both smartphones. Both phones will also be running Android 11 out of the box.
