Motorola has finally confirmed that they are going to launch the Moto G51 5G in India on December 10. The smartphone was launched alongside Moto G200 last month in Europe and now it will finally be launched in India. The launch date was confirmed on Twitter and they have also confirmed that the smartphone will be available for sale through e-commerce giant Flipkart. The phone would be available in three different color options which are Aqua Blue, Bright Silver, and Indigo Blue.
The phone is expected to launch with the same specifications that were launched in Europe. If there are no changes, then the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 480+ SoC chipset and will have a 4GB/64GB variant on sale. It will have a 6.8-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display, which will also support a 120Hz refresh rate. On the rear, it will house a triple camera setup where the primary sensor will be 50MP, along with 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone will also be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and fast charging support.
The phone was launched in Europe at a price of EUR 229, which makes the expected price of the smartphone somewhere around Rs 20,000 in the Indian market. It will run the Android 11 operating system out of the box which is expected to give a fast UI interface similar to the vanilla Android interface. Apart from this, the company will also be launching Moto Edge X30 smartphone in China a day earlier on December 9 and they also have a few launches set ahead for European markets.
