Windows has recently launched a new update for Windows 10. The build 20206 comes with a lot of different UI changes and an improved emoji picker, touch keyboard, voice typing, and a lot more. The update was rolled out to Dev channel Insiders and Insiders enrolled in the Dev channel can download the build through Windows Update. The new update adds a new acrylic background which provides a much better experience using the fluent design principles. The new update will also improve the discoverability of emoji searches in multiple languages. Going forward, WIN + [.] and WIN + [;] will now enable you to quickly input animated GIFs.
The number of gifs available will regularly be updated based on current trends. Similar to this a major revamp was noticed in the emoji keyboard. Users can press WIN+V and go straight to clipboard history or access it through by switching to the “Clipboard” category after pressing WIN + [.] or WIN + [;]. The company has also added a few improvements to voice typing where the users will experience an improved version of Windows dictation which will help easily to convert voice to text with more accuracy. The new improvement to the voice typing feature would include. a new modern design, auto punctuation, and a shortcut to activate the feature immediately by pressing WIN+H or by using the microphone button on the keyboard.
The keyboard design has also been improved with new press key animation and sound and emoji options added to the keyboard directly and more. The new update also adds the feature of changing the cursor movement using the spacebar. For that, you need to have a touch-sensitive keyboard. The company promises to add a lot of improvement to the Windows 10 operating system in the future as well, as many of their new features are still under development.
