When it comes to the new generation of Macbooks for Apple, we already know that they are planning to change a lot of components based on the rumors that have been floating since the launch of the iPhone 12 series. The popular Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has made a new prediction about the new MacBook Pro again after he confirmed last month that Apple will be removing the Touch Bar from the next MacBook Pro as part of a series redesign. He also confirmed that Apple will be using the MagSafe charging technology, which was previously used in the Macbook Air which they removed again in 2019.
The company is expected to take a lot of inspiration when it comes to design from the new iPhone 12 series. As per his statement, “In terms of casing design, the new models [MacBook Pro] cancel the curvy design of existing models’ top and bottom parts and adopt a flat-edged form factor design similar to the iPhone 12.“” Apple adopted a more flatter design for iPhone 12 series, something that was also visible till iPhone 5 series. The same idea will not also be applied to the new MackBook series and the consumer can expect to have a flatter design as per the current focus by Apple.
It has also been predicted that the 2021 edition of the Macbook will also bring back the SD card reader which was not available before. There is no doubt that the company is trying to make the new Macbook series loaded with new features, a better display, and better hardware to boost the performance of its predecessors.
