It has been a long time since Lenovo has not announced any new smartphone in the market. It might be a hint that the company is working on a big project for the future. However, the company has finally teased the fan with some news which might be a new smartphone. The company has teased the launch of its new series of smartphones that will be taking on the Redmi Note 9 series with 5G support, that is about to launch in China on November 26. The teaser was shared on their Weibo channel while taking a dig at Redmi.
The company seems to be bringing its Lemon series back in the market which would be much more affordable and will compete against the Redmi 9 series, with similar performance but more affordable pricing. The teaser does not provide many details about the smartphone by it shows three different phone models, which could be completely different phones or variants to the same series. The image also says “6 Coming” and a tagline “Three Swords together“. The tagline could be hinting towards the slim design of the phone but is still speculation at this point.
The teaser was posted by Lenovo three hours after the Redmi Note 9 series invite on Weibo. The teaser has been specially designed to look like an inverted Redmi invite. The company has not provided any details about the smartphones yet and have given no details on the launch plans. The company might also bring in a re-branded version of Motorola phones with a new name and design.
