The next generation of Qualcomm Snapdragon chips, which have lately debuted on several benchmarking platforms, are expected to power the forthcoming premium Android phones. The existing Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is a popular choice for many flagship handsets; however, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is a newcomer.
According to reports, this new Snapdragon CPU could trump the Apple A17 Bionic, and the latest Weibo leak reveals some of its benchmark scores. According to the leak, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 got 2563 points in the GeekBench single-core test and 7256 points in the multi-core test scores. In terms of total performance, its AnTuTu score was 1,712,271, with 331,292 CPU points and 853,295 GPU points. While these results are impressive, they fall just short of the Apple A17 Bionic’s GeekBench score of 3,019/7,860.
It’s worth noting that the GeekBench sighting has yet to be confirmed, and the real listing has yet to appear.
