Although it has been less than a month since the iPhone 12 series has been launched, iPhone 13 news and details have already started coming out. One of the biggest improvements in the iPhone has been the camera, something that has been improving year after year. This year it was the LiDAR scanner that made the iPhone 12 series camera setup totally different and unique from any other smartphones in the category. Now, details have been leaked about further improvements to the wide-angle lens of the iPhone.
As per Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the ultra-wide lens in the iPhone will have a significant upgrade in the iPhone 13 series. As per the details, the iPhone 13 series will also have four variants as the iPhone 12 series and it is most likely that it will get an ultra-wide lens with f/1.8 aperture, 6P lens, and Auto Focus feature. Currently, the iPhone 12 has a 12MP ultra-wide with f/2.4 aperture and fixed focus with a 5p lens. Some more improvements in the iPhone 13 camera could be the Deep Fusion, Night Mode, and Lens Correction.
Also rumored that Taiwan’s Largan Precision Co Ltd. is likely to get about 70% of orders for the upgraded 6P ultra-wide lens on the iPhone 13 series. Apart from the camera, it is expected that the phone will also receive a major improvement in the screen as it could have a 120Hz refresh rate and will most probably have the LTPO(Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) display which has been designed by Apple themselves.
