Huawei has been working on their premium flagship device Huawei Mate X2 for a while now and it has finally appeared on the TENAA approval list. The approval from TENAA shows that the phone is all ready to be launched and we can get to see the announcement anytime soon. The Huawei Mate X2 is supposed to be a foldable phone and will have an 8-inch screen size in full stretched mode and will reduce to half the size when folded.
A while back, patent drawings for the phone were also leaked which provided a lot of details about the same. The drawing reveals a second screen on the outside of the phone after it is folded, which will be a 4.5-inch screen. The phone will be powered using the Kirin 9000 chipset and will also have 66W fast charging support. Apart from Huawei Mate X2, the TENAA listing also shows another smartphone from Huawei with model number CDL-AN50. It is for sure a 5G enabled phone and has a 6.5-inch display along with a 3,900 mAh battery.
When it comes to this phone, it will be equipped with 40W fast charging technology while other details are not yet out for the model. However, it was also noted that the phone with a 6.5-inch display has a very small battery which could lead to smaller battery life. It could be another clamshell design phone or a foldable model, but the details are not yet announced by the company and it seems we will have to wait for more for the official announcement.
