The next in the line from Google in the market of smartphones is the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, details for which have already been leaked online for a while now. Now, as per the latest leak, the company is going to launch the new range of Pixel devices on October 28 along with the announcement of the Android 12 operating system. There has been no official announcement from Google yet, but as per the tipster, the launch is almost confirmed on the date. The phone would be the first to run on Google’s custom-made Tensor chipset.
The phone was earlier rumored to launch on September 13, however, the date has now been delayed by more than a month. The phone will be launched on October 28, but the pre-order for it will start from October 19 onwards. The new Tensor chipset has been specifically designed by Google for Pixel devices and they claim that it is the most powerful chipset with powerful AI and Machine Learning models. It would help the users get an entirely new experience with the camera, speech, and other features of Pixel 6.
Both the smartphones come with a 6.4-inch and 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz and 120Hz refresh rates. While the Pixel 6 comes with a dual-camera setup, the Pixel 6 Pro will come with a triple camera setup. As per reports, Google might be using the 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor for the camera units in their smartphone. We expect more details to come out about the smartphone in the future before the launch.
