Last year Google offered a lighter version of the Pixel 4 by offering Pixel 4a in the market. Although it did not have 5G support initially, later Google offered Pixel 4a 5G variant as well. Since the launch of 4a was successful for the company, it seems like they are all geared up to offer Pixel 5a this season. As per a new report, Google could officially be launching the Pixel 5a on June 11 and it will be a device exclusive event, which means that no other smartphone or device will be launched along with it.
The reports also suggest that the Pixel 5a would come with a punch-hole cutout design on the front-facing camera and is expected to be much smaller than 4a. The placement of the cut-out is still expected to be on the top-left corner of the screen. Since some of the render images for the same have been leaked previously, it is expected that the phone will have a 6.2-inch OLED display and could have support for a higher refresh rate.
Another report has also come in for the Pixel 6 smartphone which claims that the phone would have a similar design feature but a center punch-hole display in the front. Also, the Pixel 6 could offer users 4K video shooting using the front-facing camera. Apart from these, Google will also be launching the next-generation Pixel Bids in the future. We hope to see a lot more leaks before the actual device gets launched in June.
