The much awaited Asus 7 and 7 pro has been officially launched by Asus with a lot of different and unique features. The next generation device from Asus is still carrying the flip camera technology, with a triple camera setup this time. The device has been officially launched for Europe and will be available in the market from September 1, 2020. However, the company has made no official announcement about its global availability. But if the trend is to be followed, the phone will be launched in other parts of the world within the next month or two.
The company has launched two variants of the phone called the Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro. Both the mobile phones come with a 6.67 inch screen which is a notchless screen capable of 90Hz refresh rate and is a complete OLED panel. Both the smartphone will have the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset, which will provide exceptional performance and gaming capabilities. However, the difference can be noticed in both the models as the process is clocked at 2.4GHz vs. 3.1GHz in both 7 and 7Pro models of Asus Zenfone. Zenfone 7 will come in a 6 and 8 GB RAM variant and a storage of 128 GB, while the 7 Pro model will come in only 8GB variant and a 256GB storage capacity.
Both the device will get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 5,000 mAh battery along with the capability to expand the storage up to 2TB. The major feature of the phone is the all new triple flip camera setup which will have the 64-megapixel main sensor, 12-megapixel ultrawide, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The same camera can be flipped and used as a selfie camera as well. The cost of the phone will be $750 for the Zenfone 7 model and $955 for the 7Pro model.
