AMD has been developing new technologies and bringing out new innovations to its chipset design. Recently, the company has been working on its all-new Zen 3 mobile chipset which is not only smaller but will also be providing great performance to the user. Earlier, the Ryzen 5000 series of CPUs only provided single-threaded performance in desktop chipsets. However, the new leaks have shown that a new mobile chip is on its way. The new Zen 3 APUs will soon be coming in laptops under the Ryzen 5000 product lineup.
The specs that have been leaked suggest that the mobile chip will be based on Ryzen 5 5600U and based on APU codenamed Cezanne. It will be a six-core part and will have a 2.3 GHz base clock and 4.2 GHz boost. The new series of the chipset will be low power and will slot into the same sort of 15W TDP that Intel’s ultraportable CPUs occupy. It was also leaked that the chipsets will be having integrated graphics with seven Vega compute units, which will work up to 448 stream processors clocked at relatively high 1.8 GHz.
With the new series of chipset, one can expect much faster performance than the previous generation. Although these are just rumors right now, the company is expected to launch the new chipset in a couple of months. Also, we can expect the company to come out with a lot more new announcements as they have already been working on new chipset technologies.
