FAU-G crosses four million pre-registrations pre-launch

The popular game FAU-G which is all set to launch on January 26 has crossed four million pre-registration on the Google Play Store, which was confirmed by the developer’s nCore Games. The game was announced last year after the ban of Chinese apps in the Indian market. Due to this, the most popular game PUBG was banned and users were looking for an alternative game that could provide the same experience. At the same time, FAU-G was announced and the game was up for registration in the month of November 2020.

The games have been delayed for the launch ever since due to development issues, however, the developers did release a teaser for the same last month, after which the registration allowed only for the high-end and mid-range devices. The developers have confirmed that the game’s availability will be expanded to more devices in the future as well, where it would be made available to iOS devices and low-end Android devices. Vishal Gondal, co-founder, and chairman of nCore Games confirmed that the four million pre-registration mark did not include low-end devices that tried to register.

The game crossed one million pre-registration within 24 hours of its debut on the Google Play store and it is expected that after its release, the game will see a much larger response. The developers have also confirmed that the game will not be exactly similar to PUBG at the start however, more and more elements will be added to the games as an update, similar to PUBG.
