It seems that bad times for CyberPunk 2077 developers CD Projekt Red are not going to end for a time now. With a lot of backslash from the Xbox One X and Playstation 4 users for the bad performance of the game, the company also accepted their fault. After this, the developers have had to face a lot of criticism, and even issue refunds to the users. Now as per the latest report, they have started facing backlash for the game even in the office.
In an internal board meeting through video calls, the management opened up by apologizing for Cyberpunk 2077’s disastrous launch and after that, they had to face a lot of questions from the angry and frustrated staff. Developers asked blunt questions about the company’s reputation, the game’s unrealistic deadlines, and the relentless overtime in the months and years leading up to the game’s December 10 release. The meeting took place before Sony Corp.’s shocking announcement that it was pulling Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store and offering a full refund to users who had the worst experience with the fame.
The developer company also mentioned on Twitter, “Following our discussion with PlayStation, a decision was made to temporarily suspend digital distribution.” CD Projekt’s share value has already declined by 12% and questions from members of the company are creating even the worst condition for the company. Now the board of directors is being blamed by the developers for the unrealistic deadlines on the game completion which leads to many things and elements being incomplete.
