Huawei is known for smartphones with some of the best hardware configuration available in the world. Now it’s official as well as Huawei Mate 40’s HiSilicon Kirin 9000 chipset has ranked at the first position in the benchmarks. The phone was launched on 23 October and it did not take any time for people to check the phone for its benchmarks. The phone is the latest flagship from the company and is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 9000 chip.
Huawei launched and announced these chipsets earlier this week which were built on 5nm architecture from TMSC and have a large boost in both performance and energy efficiency. The company has also confirmed that the CPU has also been improved in the chipset, but no official figures have been released up till now. The HiSilicon Kirin 9000 is in the 1st position with a total of 216.6 points, beating both the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chip and even the Qualcomm 865+ SoC. The new Kirin 9000 is an 8 core CPU with 24 core Mali G78 GPU with it.
Along with that, it also has 2 Big and 1 Tiny core NPU. As per the company, it is currently the most powerful chipset in the market right now and has 30% more transistors than the new Apple A14 bionic chipset., making it 10% faster than the Qualcomm 865+, beating them by a margin of 240%. It will be interesting to see if the new Snapdragon 875, which is due to launch at the end of the year, can gain a higher position than Kirin 9000 in terms of performance.
