Ever since Google has announced its Android 11 operating system. Many OEM companies have started making their customizable UI skins based on the Android 11 operating system. One such company is OnePlus which was one of the first to roll out Android 11 beta updates. The company announced that the third beta update will be the final one for the closed beta program. However, the company had to release the fourth update to close it due to many different types of issues that stayed unresolved.
OnePlus was also expected to Open the Beta program for interested users to try out OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 for their devices. On September 8, OnePlus announced its OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 1 program, with the second update to it launched recently for OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. The new Oxygen OS skin based on Android 11 has a lot of new features and is not faster and better than before. The new skin is based on conveniently providing the user access to many functions and has all the information at a glance. It will be a major UI overhaul from the one users have been using till now.
A Chinese OEM is running a survey for OnePlus users who have tried the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 1 and/or Open Beta 2 update based on Android 11. The survey consists of various questions about existing features and changes users would like to see. It is a great step to increase the features and make the UI better as per the user’s choice.
