Apple’s “Time Flies” event is all set for September 15, where it is expected that they will be launching their all-new Apple Watch 6 and the new affordable Watch, which is the name as Apple Watch SE. As per a report from Bloomberg, the new affordable Apple watch will be a direct competitor to the Fitbit smartwatches. We do know the Watch Series 6 is going to be expensive and a more premium offering, however, not much information is currently available regarding the more affordable version.
However, it is confirmed that the new Apple Watch SE will be a replacement for Apple watch series 3 and would be available in two different versions of 40mm and 44mm. The design of this affordable version is said to be very similar to Apple Watch Series 4. Since it is an affordable version, the watch will certainly miss out on a few premium features like ECG, always-on display, and other premium features that will be present in the Apple Watch 6.
Since Apple Watch 3 has been one of the most popular Apple watches in the series, the company is trying to bring back the best of its features and present it in a new package. We can also expect the new Apple Watch SE to have almost all the features that were present in the Watch 3 series and a lot more. Although there are no leaks and details on the pricing and specs, we will officially have to wait for Apple’s event for more details.
