Xiaomi’s new Redmi 10 A smartphone has recently appeared on the FCC and Geekbench platforms, revealing a lot of new details about it. The smartphone is the successor to the Redmi 9A smartphone and it seems that it has taken a lot of components from it. The smartphone will be powered by a Mediatek Processor and will have a built-in fingerprint scanner as well. The smartphone first appeared in the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) as the 220233L2G.
As per the listing on GeekBench, the smartphone will be powered by the Mediatek Helio G25 chipset and will have five different variants when it is launched. The variants include 2GB/32GB, 3GB/32GB, 3GB/64GB, 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB variants. The listing also revealed that the smartphone will come with a dual-camera setup on the rear and a fingerprint scanner that was not available in the Redmi 9A. The phone will also be running on Android 11 with MIUI 2.
The smartphone is expected to launch in the month of March 2022 alongside Redmi 10C and Poco C4 smartphones. The smartphone will have a 13MP primary sensor on the rear with a 2MP depth sensor and will have support for 4G networks. Overall, the smartphone scored 791 on the single-core performance and 3630 on the multi-core performance. It will be a new offering from Xiaomi in the budget segment with some upgrades. What remains to see is the price difference at the time of launch, when compared to Redmi 9A.
