Samsung launched Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Watch 4 in a Galaxy Unpacked event this year. Along with the standard version, the company has now unveiled the “Bespoke edition” for both devices which allows users to customize the device with more colors and as per their choice. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 provides more customization options in this edition such as different body and frame colors. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke edition is $100 costlier than the standard smartphone and is priced at around $1,099 in the US.
However, in terms of customization, the company has only provided five color options and two frame options. In the color option, one can choose between blue, yellow, pink, white, and black, and in frames, the only available option is black and silver. In total, the user will be able to make 49 different color combinations for the smartphone. The colors available are based on the research by Samsung in the fashion and automotive industry, by selecting the colors that are in trend. For now, this edition is only available in seven regions and can make its way to other countries like India as well in the future.
The Galaxy Watch 4 Bespoke Edition, comes with many different options of straps and colors. Both the devices in the Bespoke edition can be ordered online with customization as they are only made on order. Depending on the customization, the fee may start from $79. It also has a customized watch face and a “knock-knock” wrist motion that activates many apps. It will be available in Korea, US, UK, Germany, France, Canada, and Australia starting 20 October. Samsung is now collaborating with Maison Kitsuné to bring out a special edition for Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Buds 2 in the future.
